Report a translation problem
Based on my playtime i have not seen an option to change the difficulty level.
I have no idea how hard the game gets as i haven't progressed far do to my friend always receiving fatal error in which i just suicide then so we can start over and pray that we can actually manage a full run before it crashes for him xD
If you aren't good at the game, it could be MUCH longer.

When you know Returnal already and got the hang of it, it's 4-5hours max. For new players 15-25hours I'd say. Highly skill dependant
I finished it in 4.7 hours yesterday. I died once, but I am experienced already. Just saying there IS a reason why this game does not allow you to save your run. Dying in Returnal literally belongs to its gamedesign.
