It’s okay. I still have a PC if I really want to play it. I’ve just been sort of landlocked on the couch with my Steam Deck ever since I got it, so I’m looking for more great games to play on it. Been scoping some newer games as of late, but open to suggestions.

I SERIOUSLY recommend getting Spider Man Miles Morales or God of War(2018) for ur deck, they play hella well on there

that will depend if you're tolerent with low settings and dlss or whatever

i play on deck and went till the second boss ( where the game completly freezes for me each i start the fight) i got 30 fps all along, got some drops there and there but small drops (Average reaching 25 -27 fps) dosn't really bother me since it's playable and the deck dosn't heat up like a nasa engine

if you want 60fps, good luck with that on deck but if 30 fps on this device is ok for you then yea give it a shot

btw, you still can buy the game and play it less than two hours to try it and decide wether you keep it or refound it

Well aware of Steam's refund policy. I've abused that more times than I like to admit lol. But I'm not temporarily forking over $60 for a roll of the dice. I'd prefer to have input like yours before doing so. So thank you for giving me a heads up. The freezing at the second boss with only 30fps is alarming enough to avoid a purchase when buying specifically for the deck. I really don't play many higher end games on deck anyways because most of them just suck the battery life into oblivion. I should have expected that from something as demanding as a next gen game. Just wanted the input. Thanks again.

Yeah, they really touted the Steam Deck as playing your whole Steam library, but reality is the specs just aren't there yet. Still a great device for what it is. Love it, but interested to see how it evolves over time.
