How to fully reset progress

Is there a way to fully reset progress? I had the classic windowed/fullscreen incompatible resolution on the 2nd time I ran the game, and I had to quit my session just to fix it. I'd rather play from the very first run as though I had never done it, if at all possible.

im trying the same on ps5 you wouks just delete save data i dont know how to do that on pc

Save data is located in "username"\AppData\Local\Returnal\Steam\Saved\SaveGames for me should be the same for you

Yet another frustrating oversight about this game, can't even reset everything without rifling through AppData.

EDIT: And deleting it didn't even do sh*t, either. Jesus.

same question - skipped the opening scenes and want to reset to "first run" experience

edit: figured it out. disable steam cloud saves first THEN delete the save files in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Returnal\Steam\Saved\SaveGames

Don't forget to turn cloud saves back on!
