Demo 1.36 - New mining, building, and terrain damage visuals

- The amount of mining that is done is now always visible from the miner to the resource.
- Placing and building a 'structure' now has some detail to make it less monotone.
- Terrain now takes visual damage from explosions, does not effect the gameplay. (performance remains the same)

The persistent terrain damage gives some sense of lasting impact from major battles. It also partially heals, so active battles can be distinguished from previous battles.

Cannot get past first tutorial task

I have a Valve Index (5800X/4070tisuper/32gbRAM/win10) and I cannot fulfill the first tutorial task of lowering and heightening of your view. I can do the first-sub task (raising yourself above the terrain IIRC) but cannot fulfill the second (moving yourself as close to the ground) no matter how much I pull myself to it. Even lowering my head to the ground and below it won't trigger the task complete....

Mission objectives and stacking power visualization included in DEMO

This update continues to bring more game data to the player, so decisions can be made more grounded in a real understanding of the game.

1. This update to the demo gives the player easy access to mission objectives. They are now grabbable on the avatar arms. When grabbed a short summery of the objective is shown and the location of the objective is marked on the map.
2. Current resources has been moved to the outside of the arm, giving the player an easy was to check resources.
3. The stacking power of a turret is visualized even better.
4. All unique buildings now show their stacking power IN location and OUT location. Making it easy to know where to boost or extract power from. In combination with the stacking power visualization the buildings can boost defense or mining when in a pinch.

I'm not a big fan of the locomotion.

I don't mean to be mean but its one of the worst locomotion's ive encounter. I think a basic grip trigger movement with scaling would do the game a huge benefit. Even better.. customization options with locomotion. Sorry for the harsh words and best of luck with you game....

Tutorial telling me to pick up a tower and put it on a marker?

I can't pick anything up. Using Quest 2/Steam Link the grab button is making my hand close but nothing around me can be picked up or interacted with. I'm not even sure what the 'tower' is supposed to be as there's nothing resembling a tower - just a cube that can't be moved....

During the development of this game a playtest version is available with the latest build. This allows you to freely try the game. And it allows me to find/fix bugs early and get some feedback about the game before release. The Playtest has its own community hub for all feedback during the development of the game. Current version : Known Issues & missing features (updated Demo V017, 10th januari 2024)

The current demo has a few issues, most are not too bad... but noticeable: The movement system is bad. Its made to give you great speed and great accuracy, but players hate it. While I try to solve this, please use the teleport locomotion for a more conventional movement system. . CPU always seems to struggle even at 72 FPS. Yes, I found the cause. Have a bug report out with Unity, but doubt they will fix it any time soon. Its best to just run the game at high...
