Dear Wastebraver Community,

We have made the difficult decision to halt development on Wastebraver for the foreseeable future. Several key members of our team have moved on from Strangest.io, significantly impacting our ability to continue the project as originally envisioned. Additionally, the design challenges of creating a seamless experience for both the Playdate console and PC proved more formidable than we anticipated.

We also recognized that the primary audience for Wastebraver was on the Playdate console, which has a smaller user base - and without the excitement for the PC version, we concluded that we wouldn't be able to justify the time and resources required to bring the game to fruition.

While Wastebraver is shelved for now, we still have all the project files and may revisit it someday. In the meantime, we're focusing our efforts on an exciting new project planned for PC, Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.

This past year has been a difficult time for our team. As always, we thank you for your understanding and continued support.
