It only became an issue when everyone wanted to buy the game before it was released.
Don't buy the game before release. It's that easy.

You're the exact type of person this is aimed at.
I'm not saying reviews should make the decision, I'm saying they should help you form your own, especially when you literally can't have an opinion because the game isn't out yet. Obviously you should play the game and come to your own conclusions once it's available, but that's the whole reason we have reviewers and playtesters; so that they can give us the inside scoop while we're unable to play the game ourselves.
It's a warning to be skeptical of the person that tapes the mouths of his other patients shut before he operates on you next.
