So even when you are willing to go out at night no problem, it is just awkward instead of tense. More so with my luck of having the sleepy debuff happen at sunrise. welp, time to sleep through the day again. maybe I'll get to enjoy the view later...
The main reason I don't like the night in Stalker 2 is because it's too dark. I don't have a brighter flashlight or any night vision equipment, and that makes me feel frustrated and uncomfortable.
now this is the point , i agree ! truly .
I think the devs have said they have heard feedback about it being too quick. We'll see if they change it/add sliders or something.
I quite like the rainy days. And the windy days. The weather is quite well done imo.
Night Vision is in the game. Just try to fight any enemy at night.
You cant see them, but they can sure as hell see you as if it's daylight.
NPC's get NV, Stalkers dont.
nice joke , i wish my night vision .
And there's also the thermal scope.
Too bad they didn't nerf visibility for the NPCs as well. Yeah, there's a bit more darkness than light. There are valid complaints to be made. But to say you can't tell the difference between day and night? That's absurd. Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blind?
I can't speak to Ukrainian weather, but I assume the frequency of rain is also based on their local patterns. I believe the area has a lot of rainfall during the fall, when the game seems to be set.
However, yes, day/night cycle is definitively weird as i mostly find myself in the dark rather then the day. Weather is also somewhat weird as the damn rain is falling more often then not. Rain should be a random and rarer event, not almost a constant one.
I do enjoy Stalker 2. It does scratches that "Fallout" itch but without weird humor.
However with bad performance issues, bugs galore and what in some cases screams an unfinished title, i consider this game to be in early access.
bed and sleep , but when you go outside walk in the land , the dark will upon you quickly again , or ... its rainning and little dark .
