Back to Gamma I go I suppose.
Grok releases 1.0 Gamma before Stalker 2 figures their ♥♥♥♥ out confirmed.
Weapon Attachment System is way to simple.
The lack of Nightvision makes exploring at Night Stressful in a bad Way and the bad Lightning adds much more Pain. (too much Night and Rain Days.)
When you are exploring everything ,the Game feels like a SP Extraction Shooter but with nothing Valuble or interesting to find.
Almost every Area looks the Same. Its realistic but boring after a Time bceause this Game is big and there is a lot to Explore but everything feels kinda boring.
NPC´s visibility is 75 Meters, this is a broken Neck for a Game like this. A-Life is broken.
Almost all Quests are boring.
I played it a lot but i can give it with a lot of good Will max 70 % because its a Stalker Game but objectively its around 60 % without any Bugs.
Graphics looking kinda bad for a 2025 UE5 Game.
Maybe not bad but i dont know. Not even close to the first Trailers.
Bad Reflections, bad Lightning, Lightning Bugs, a lot of shimmering and Texture pop in. NPCs moving and interactions feels like a Game from 2004.
Game looks often "foggy" and greyish like every UE Game.
At this point a remake is the only way to get the game that we expected.
That's basically what Anomaly is.
And still, the legal rights to stalker belong to these devs. You can't just make a spinoff game without permission (which anomaly does have a specific exemption).
I can give you a better alternative. Why the developers which are paid and their only job was/is to release a game that wouldnt need patches for things that should be ironed in alpha/beta dont focus to do the only thing that earns them their bread ?
Neo GSC has far better modder and OG fan community than their current modus operandi and attitude deserve.
Modders are people with normal job and life and they do this out of pure love and dedication so you writing this line clearly underlines that you are part of the general gaming scene problem of titles with premium price releasing in a state that needs 1y to be normal.
OG fans that remember what was A.life in 2007 and paid premium price, heck even they purchased so many ultimate physical packs that GSC did a second batch, have every right to be disappointed and bitter. Especially with the bait and switch removal of the description less than a week before release.
No consumer owes anything when he/she has paid 60/70/80 dollars/euros to any company. He/she is entitled to a good quality product. End of story.
historically speaking, playing the original stalker when it was released (2007), there wasnt such issues that needed to be fixed by the modding community, i played thru several times without any serious issues and without any mods. also the modding community took years to get any decent mods being made. mods like Misery, Anomaly and GAMMA came much much later.
