All of a sudden this game keeps freezing up.
This has almost never happened before today, and now it's happened 5 times tonight. The game just freezes. A couple of times, while I had my chest open - so no action occurring. I rebooted my machine, same thing. Did they just release an update?

That was happening to me since version 1.0 already. Seems to happen if you stay in stash for prolonged periods. Not sure what else could be the cause.

Are you in Rostov? There is a known performance issue there

If you are in Rostock it´s a known issiue and hopefully fixed the next update.

I am in the same boat. I have been fine playing on gamepass since release and I only just got to rostock this morning and now the game keeps freezing and my ram fills up to 99%.

Same for me, during an emission the game freezes 100% of the time. I am near Rostov...

Yep, that was it. I was finally able to get out of the area. It took some work, as soon as I tried to leave there was an emission, and it seemed to take forever. That and several saves later, I was finally able to leave and get clear, and it stopped freezing up. Thanks for the advice.

Rostok area is a massive anomaly black hole that spreads outside of the confines of the game and into peoples computers causing a freeze or crash. Pretty serious stuff!

Wow. I was going nuts till I found this. I am in Rostock. Rifling through my stash and boom. 3 freezes that caused to me to have to restart my PC. Thank god it’s nothing serious. Was worried about my baby.

I had that in Rostok when my Personal stash was really full. I sold a ton elsewhere because I kept crashing in Rostok. after selling I came back and have had no more crashes for a week or 2.

It's still happening. I needed to run back there as it's the only maintenance available in the area, and it's a matter of quick saving like crazy.

Good catch on that, You should report that to the game support site.

I don't get freeze ups but it sure is a resource hog I have to run an app called RamMap before I play and after I exit the game to clear the stand by list
