exosuits. which is best?

i havent seen any guides on which exos are better or how they vary. please correct me if im wrong. duty exo: good protection/ not good anomalous pro. freedom exo: UNK not sure. Spark exo: good anomalous pro/ not so good pro in comparison. Ward Operator exo: good bullet pro/ not so good psi or anomaly pro. Diamond exo: (what im using currently with upgrades) good pro/ good anomalous pro but upgrade capped. ruby exo: UNK not sure of stats. and lastly Brumbarr merc exo: UNK not sure. is Brumbarr merc exo better or worse than Diamond monolith exo?

Pick one of these, they don't really differ much.
Anomaly protection is not really important.
Upgrade the Physical/Psy protection and carryweight/wear and tear bonuses and ignore the rest to not make your repaircost explode. The anomaly protection can be enhanced by switching out artifacts when needed.

hey small nitpick. if the dia is better than the ruby then why does dia sell for 68000k and ruby is 69000k? one would think the better suit would pay out more

You can add more upgrades to the ruby because it's not as limited as the diamond exo. That's why.

no ive done it; it 100% works however it will screw up your chance to heal spirit because getting it assumes you've completed his mission thus leaving you unable to prevent him from dying because the device is removed from your inventory. also running numbers liberty seems better than dia but when in pripyat the tech cant fully upgrade the liberty exo. he can on the dia but not liberty. i now have to see which tech CAN filly upgrade. but im banking 100% on liberty > dia

Diamond has better anomaly and psy protection.

Both suits are fully upgraded. Diamond exo could have another physical protection upgrade i couldn't take because i wanted the stamina upgrade instead. Ruby doesn't has to compromise here, it can take both. Ruby also has arm stabilizers upgrade that diamond doesn't have.

Ah, i was thinking i was to late to save him, found him dead in the tunnel, but what do you mean the "the device is removed from your inventory"? Nothing disapeared from my Inventory, and he had a note that told me where the scanner is to disable the anomalies, wich i did pick up after
So doesnt really seem to matter if he dies or not.

so this has to do with i think the mission "an act of mercy" in which you get the monolithian healing device which cannot be removed from your inventory is not supposed to because its used for the border quest [spoiler/]
but if you get the suit prematurely or enter the bunker while its still technically sealed via ladder. something happens

so like no one in the zone can do the final branch of upgrades? lame. why even have them in the tree? if that's the case as im looking at it Dia should be better than liberty because the incomplete branching upgrade of the liberty is not better in ANY category than the liberty aside from physical pro which is equal. let me know if im missing something in my assessment because those meters dont always account for the effects or qualities in the upgrade tree? is it mobility durability? what on earth makes liberty > dia if it cant be fully upgraded?

Not that I found. So unless there is a hidden technician somewhere that can do the last few upgrades for Liberty...Even so, fully upgraded, Liberty doesn't quite make it to being same level as Diamond. Diamond will have slightly better stats as the screenshot shows. If Liberty is fully upgraded it just gets another 15% anomaly protection in Thermal and another 10% in Psi, which brings Psi on par with Diamond, but anomaly protection (all types) and physical protection is still inferior and so is radiation. Wear resistance on both suits is the same. 55% maxed out. Diamond gets Sprint upgrade, so does Liberty. Diamond has massive 25.6 weight capacity boost, Liberty was lower.
