Petition to stop GSC's talks with Netflix

We need to form a petition to stop GSC from selling out to Netflix who will not only ruin the game but ruin the image of the game. Nobody asked for or wants a Netflix deal. Nobody wants to see the Stalker universe ruined by Netflix. Please GSC if you care even 1% about fans do not follow through with selling out and betraying your fans.

I dunno, Fallout the TV show was great, Fallout 4 was personally a heap of junk, and do not look fondly back at 3 or NV, only 1 and 2 were for me. I even tried 76 this year and that was hilariously pointless.

Brother Fallout TV series was filled with propaganda(yes, I watched all episodes intently).

This is a game set in Ukraine. Ukraine is a very homogenous nation. There are almost no black people living there. They are also not into silly gender games. In Ukraine a man is a man, and a woman is a woman.

The game already has black people in it. SIRCAA and Ward are multinational, and even Noontide has Quiet, a black guy, meaning there were plenty of stalkers from abroad trying to get in.
Safe to say the developers themselves are not as concerned with their "racial purtiy" as you are.

Sorry, but the game is really great. I know Russians are mad but your government started a war, so you have to face consequences. The reason I made this thread is because I don't want GSC to sellout to Netflix. If you cared about Stalker, you wouldn't want them to as well.

Very true. Their network essentially has infinite funds. Money is nothing to them. Widening the wealth gap is a bonus. Ultimately though it's about the conditioning/social engineering.

Remember SoC? That was buggy as hell at launch. After a few patches (and a mod to add the missing weapons and fix the horrendous bullet drop) it was a masterpiece.

What? No, all games in the past - which was a perfect, golden era - launched in flawless and performant states, especially on PC, where optimization and stability have never, ever been an issue, especially not for ambitious semi-open-world RPGs with complex systems.

And today's more seamless, more geometrically complex, more complicated software engineering having, higher fidelity rendering games should magically be even more so, and if they aren't, then they are automatically complete failures, even if they actually perform better at launch today on mid-range and min spec hardware than those older games did relative to the available hardware at their launches.

I for one definitely do not recall SoC being a buggy, janky mess at launch, or almost unplayable on any OS that wasn't Windows XP at the time, or people with Vista being basically out of luck until lots of patch work was done. No, that never happened, SoC launched in a fantastic state on day one.

Here my question to all devs that have a good gaming IP and are thinking about expanding their universe to movies/TV. Do they not know they already have a superior medium to portray their world/characters in?

Movies and T.V. are an objectively inferior entertainment medium to games, for the simple fact that player has the choice instead of of having to sit through propaganda and preaching like modern movies/TV has turned into.

Regardless what they do I don't what trash TV or movies anymore so the only memory of the IP for me will be game games lol.
