I've had one crash like that since the patch came out. Haven't had one since. Do you use a 3rd party anti virus?
im getting enemies everywhere i go, they spawned 3 times after killing every single one, the performance didnt change - stutters...

Yeah, I've been crashing 6-7 times trying to start the game, then usually another before the hour is up, then do it all again.
Still have the shader caching issue, nearly every time.
This patch helped very little, but actually brought stability down as a whole. (For me, of course)
Before anyone suggests it's my PC, nope. 4070, I7 14700K, 64gb RAM, etc. Can run Cyberpunk, Bodycam, EFT, perfectly fine with max settings

I couldn't load the game with the new patch. Very annoying.

My solution was to go into the Steam settings for Stalker 2 in the Library. Click on Properties > Installed Files > Verify Files. It loaded like 30Gb worth of files back. Works perfectly now. Hope that works for you.

Two things I did to resolve crashes and now I can play for at least 5.5 hours without issues (that's the most I've played and recorded in a single session).

In Nvidia Control Panel, put shader cache to "unlimited", also limit the max framerate to 100fps (at 3440x1440, on Epic, my 4080 barely hits 80fps anyway, so 100fps is plenty).

14600Kf and 4080 both stock on windows 11. (Not the 24H2 update).

i have a4080 and put that ♥♥♥♥ on unlimited and doesnt work, i put it on 100gb and didnt crash but idk it hav e random crashs every time so idk if that really help.

10 gb was the sweet spot for me. It was less stable higher or lower I went.

If you haven't tried yet, try changing CUDA Sysmem Fallback Policy to Prefer No Sysmem Fallback in Nvidia Control Panel. Before latest patch it would buy me more time before a crash would happen.
