There's likely multiple instances of things that can cause a memory leak and they're fixing them as they are reported and can be reproduced.

Ya lets hope so! Guess we wont know for a little while.

If there was a true memory leak in the programming everyone would have issues.

Most of us do not.

There's your fix.

Doesn’t own game, has no proof.

Onto the block list with ya!

LoL!

You... do realize that's what it's doing when it's updating shaders.... right?

What am I saying? Of course you and the average Reddit user know that memory is being reserved for the game.

Totally.

Another block, had enough of these absolute pancakebrains in here. "most of us do not" complete braindead. Get F'ed, good riddance.

If it was an actual memory leak everyone would have... memory leaks...

Logic 098.

Oh, no... He's a Redditor and his buddies on there both say there is a MEMORY LEAK because their VRAM and RAM are being reserved during the shader update...

LOLZ

You can't make some stuff up.. it's just too far out there...

Dude the problem is well known and even being addressed in the current patch note, what's the point in gaslighting everyone if even the devs acknowledge the existence of such problem?

Then why are the developers fixing the game...for memoryleaks? The first title in the patchnotes is LITERALLY memoryleak fixes.

Answer me that, you absolute nolifer with 5500 games.

You've seen a memory leak fix?

Or did you see someone say they were getting fixed?

:rfacepalm:

The first title is them talking about it.

1. If there was a memory leak everyone would have it regardless of hardware and therefore everyone would eventually crash.

Not the case.

2. If they were fixing memory leaks they would indicate where and what system they are fixing them in... such as graphics, engine interfacing, NPC generation, dialogue loops, etc.

They have not.

Chances are VERY good that you (and several other people) are misdiagnosing a "memory leak" for something else that they are fixing rather than correcting you.

Since... most of us can play the game indefinitely without a crash or have ever even HAD a crash.

Dude. The ukrainian patch note literally says "Цей патч виправляє помилки, пов’язані з аварійними завершеннями та витоками пам’яті".

What are you even arguing about?
