Don't even stop to look at it. Zig zag movement. Drop items to make yourself lighter. It is doable
Do you have the Saiga? Because you should have it by now, you literaly get it somewhere if you do the main quest I think. At least I did. If you want to fight it just the Saiga, repair it and get a load of shells and get some of that life-regen stuff and try to cheese it somewhere near that house/shack. I think it will take about 3-4 magazines.
Even if people picked up Saiga in the mission, it would be broken and cost a lot of money to repair. You also can not upgrade it unless you go out of your way to get to late game technician. Reality is you should not fight the chimera here.
