- Weird Ball. Reduces bullet damage when standing still. Can be found at Bulba anomaly, east of Zalissya.
- Bubble. Gives radio protection. Can be found at any acid anomaly. South and east of Zalissya, or the cave under the Old Mill. Random.
These 2 don't have radiation status effect so you can wear them all the time.
BTW I got super lucky and found a Liquid Rock at the poisonous pit in the Garbage
Seems with the ball and cube I can tank the suction, whirl, and glass anomalies with next to no damage. Easily stroll through bullets, etc.
Note that stacking multiple is somewhat pointless, since resists are capped. While looking for the 1 shot sniper damage to mod, I stumbled across a file that had the caps. Electric, corrosive, psi, and physical is 90%, radiation is 85%, and bleed and crush were 4.5f whatever that translates to. Carry weight 140. This is with all sources combined. Ie armor, food, artifact.
Side note, the radiation reducing ones dont seem to affect rad resist, but the rads on artifact. Example is slug with an artifact with weak radiation. 2 slug for 2 with weak rad or 2 slug for 1 with med rad to counteract negatives.
So if I have an armor with almost max physical def and equip a compass artifact then it will take almost no effect because of the cap?
That's it. There are some novel ones like the weird ball that decreases bullet damage but makes you heavier, but the biggest problem in this game is the long distances with the atrocious stamina system, and how heavy most things are.
I'm 56 hours in. I got a med-med- combo as mentioned above, and it helps. Finding a SEVA-1 suit and its upgrade ( +10% carry cap) ALSO really helps. And it's only *now* tolerable lol.
Well true, but depending how I play, I only need mentioned 3 attributes... others are just for coupons.
I don't think it gives you the drunk effect unless you go over your basic weight limit. Still incredibly useful artefact though.
