also it is arguably easier to shoot with pinpoint accuracy if you don't fear for your life in combat situation. that's what zombies do. they aim and shoot
you're just splitting hairs at this point
But to suggest that people would go into the zone without knowing how to handle a gun is ludicrous. Does it happen? Maybe. Is it likely? Probably not. People know how dangerous it is. Most people wouldn't go in there without knowing how to shoot. The ones that do probably don't live very long to become zombified stalkers in the first place. And of the ones that do, one imagines you eventually learn how to shoot from experience pretty quickly because you don't get very far in the zone without having to use a gun at some point.
these people lost most of their minds due to damaging higher brain functions but leaving the lower functions alone, they are nothing but walking grunting monsters,
the mind is basically dead but the body keeps moving.
