Yes I did, Didn't die but lost 60% of my health. It also happened right when I was looking up at the weather, it was pretty cool to see.

That's actually rather neat, that unlike most games lightning is not just visual effects.

Same here. I got hit by it, was a shocking encounter for me. hehehe. That was a "wow" moment for me that they put that level of detail in the game.

Yup happened to me. Was in a firefight during the storm, ran for cover behind a car. Lightning struck it as I was peaking out to shoot.

I had it strike within a foot of me, scared the bejeebus outta me.

Im always paranoid about being struck though, as I dont heal up and get the free healing in the first zone from the doc.

The question really is, did you get hit by it in the middle of a clear day? cause i did, a jump-scare and a half that one.

It happened at the beginning of the game and i thought
- Storm like in other games, im probably safe
3 seconds later i almost ♥♥♥♥ myself.

Yes struck directly while standing afk and it took 50% health off in the beginner jacket.

Got close to being hit once, was so close it took away some health but not much.
