16 hours into Stalker 2 and encountered 10 totally unique types of anomalies. Exploration just feels a world apart without even getting into the world design of structures, underground cave systems, platforming, and so on.
This is a super rich and interesting map to explore, maybe one of the best I've seen in a game
I installed Enhanced last week now that i have a machine capable of maxing it out and its unbelievably stunning.
Still enjoying this but both are very different games and right now Exodus is leagues better and way more polished.
Yeah, Metro was inspired by STALKER, and made by some of STALKER's former devs. They took some of it's ideas, but made into a linear, rail shooter, that I find extremely boring.
Metro series was also known for a fair share of issues on launch, and also with the AI.
STALKER 2 needs some polish, sure.
But this person is acting like a child.
Also the Ai is still fairly poor
Another game that might fit the bill as far as open world RPGs go is Atomic Heart, now that one was really solid. ♥♥♥♥ I liked it more than Exodus. There's plenty to play while STALKER 2 actually releases feature complete.
Both games are great for different reasons, get them both if you can.
Stalker is scary and survival oriented game map is huge and lets you be who you want to be.
