Getting off cooling tower

Did anyone venture to the cooling tower with the fire tornado, got up there and most importantly: Managed to get down again?

After being teleported up by the anomaly it seems like either:

a) The area is not finished
b) I am massively missing something
c) There's a story-line that I haven't triggered and therefor no way down possible

Even if cheese/glitch myself to the long ladder and manage the buggy ride down, the anomaly at the bottom just teleports me back up^^

Anyone every made it down again or am I stuck up there forever?

(There is a nice gun up there by the way)

It's b).

Jump off the tower next to the stash by the "interact" marker. There's a "bouncy" anomaly down there that will soften your landing.

Jump down by the ladder to the anomaly just to the left and there’s an anomaly at the bottom that will break your fall. You also get an achievement for it

this doesn't work if your rig is slow like mine and you hit the ground/ die before the anomaly renders in, got out by slowing my game down with cheat engine, giving the game time to think.

After dying like 30 times trying to jump down I turned graphics up from medium to max, waited like 10 seconds at the place to jump and it was rendered this time. Glad I found this or I wouldn't have known it was a render issue.

The anomalies that look like a cloud filled with rocks are like cushions.

If nothing else works -- keep it at HIGH -- and get onto the ledge below and jump.

And try not to hit the cooling tower on the way down the first time I did it I bounced of the the tower and missed the air cushions

Fun fact. I did just this as one of the first things when I arrived up there. I hit the ground hard though xD! Thanks. I hope this works out well!

Those bouncy anomalys can't always be trusted I died landing on them before
