A fairly simple question

Should there be a music playing while in the capital screen? I'm asking because in RotE there is and in Gallean's Return there isn't any, just the wind blows.

First, install editors from Tools section of your Steam Library. Then do verify files check for editor+game both GR and RotE (and any game\tool\media\etc from Steam, GOG or any other). Do it 2 or 3 times (one for editor). Steam must say that all files are correct - no downloads. Many games redownload 1-2 files do a Steam DRM, but Disciples 2 Gold isnt of them (even have DRM).

Then use GCFScape and extract all _dir.vpk archives (in any order). Replace steam Disciples 2 .exe files for 6 DRM-free .exe (eg from GOG).

Make sure u set up games similar each other. In configurator and in ingame menu settings. Dont turn off Music and other volume's lvls, and switch last string max to right - its not a volume levl, but quality*
Это я про русификаторы. Нормальной локализации не было, а гайды еще и не лучшие версии от Руссобит-М предлагают. На 1.2 Gb, да. Вместо таких русиков надо юзать именно GCFScape - и только так! Оба переводчика неверно перевели последнюю строка как "Громкость..."

На современных виндах могут быть проблемы со звуком после Alt-Tab. Ну и адвансед соудн сеттинг в конфигураторе лучше не менять (у меня получалось только одну буффер сайз менять, чтобы игра работала после сворачивания).
