Extinguish fires?

I got a mission to extinguish fires, but not sure how to do that. I tried shooting water at it, water bombing it, and boosting past it to try to spray. And none of that seemed to have any impact on the fire.

Hmm... either that's a bug or perhaps it wasn't hit enough. Several water bolts or water bombs should have put the fire out.

Had the same issue in my first quest to extinguish a ship fire, used up 4 full water tanks worth of bolts and bombs on the ship to no effect. The crates also had a similar bug, in that some extinguished after a few shots while others did not react even to direct bomb hits.

That sound like a legit bug in that case. Independent of this bug, we should probably put a visible health meter for better user feedback.

Got a second quest, this time it ended after roughly two water tanks of bolts and bombs which is closer to a reasonable amount. I'm guessing there's something wonky with the hit registration.

I was looking exactly for this same issue, I have used bombs, strafing runs until timeout and the pressure washer and nothing (and I'm pretty sure I was close enough as I ended up hitting a mast, doing a sick flip and splashing in the ocean)... I love the idea of a health meter too, at least to know when to bail if there's not enough time
