The current policies are that there's a requirement to disclose as part of the Content Survey on submission of a game, and that Valve will include that disclosure in the Steam listing.

I'm yet to encounter one of these disclosure statements on the store.
Oh you evil moustache twirling devs.
I'm a fairly experienced stage actor. I'd be willing to do VA for the credit and resume padding as well as giving the finger to SAG-AFTRA so long as you don't mind doing the audio engineering.
Do you have some samples? If so feel free to send us your portfolio. We'd be interested to hear maybe for future projects.
I'm glad they used AI. It's the future, and someone like you will just be sitting in a corner and crying to yourself within a couple of years.
Small developers do what they have to do. If you want nice things, you have to allow them to use technology. Not using technology is kind of stupid, don't you think?
This. Exactly this.
Certainly. I'll see about getting some fresh ones made for you in the next few days, schedule permitting.
Second (to some people that are complaining):
I think the developer put AI technology to good use here if you look at his/her detailed explanation (small studio/budget, text hard to read during flight, etc.).
When you buy a loaf of bread, do you guys also ask if the farmer used a tractor to harvest the wheat instead of hiring 20 honest working farmhands?
New times, new technologies...
As for the ethics of AI voices, I think it can be done ethically if the voice actors that the AI is trained on get paid, with the clear understanding that their voices will be used to generate AI voices. Sadly I doubt that's the case with most implementations of AI voices, probably not here either. :/
