Last update makes it super slow
I played the game last week at a decent speed with a miniPC with a Ryzen 7 7735HS with its integrated Radeon 680M but today I started the game and it was very, very slow. I assume it is because of the latest patch.
Anyone having the same problem?

Do you see any difference if you turn off the Frame limiter and try Vsync On/Off/Half?
Or Whist Vsync is off, set the Frame limiter to a fitting value.

Same issue, the FPS is very low even on ultra low. I'm running the game on a ryzen 5950x and a rtx 3090.

I changed the resolution to a lower one and FPS went back to normal. Then I changed it back to 1920x1080 and now works fine!
Odd.

I'm not sure what the problem is, the game runs at anything between 90FPS minimum to 130FPS. I locked it at 90 to get it smooth but it feels choppy. It feels like a cinematic 30 fps.
I disabled motion blur but no change. I played around with resolutions and graphic details and it made no difference. I think half the problem is mouse smoothing and the other half I can't figure out.

PS I play this on a superultrawide 32:9 @ 5120 x 1440 and the menus and UI don't scale properly. Stuff that should be at the bottom of the screen is not visible

Thanks for the note on UI scale. That will be fixed in the next patch. As for the performance, we'll try and investigate what might be going on.

I can only recommend that you run the game throught Special K by Kaldaien. Without it, I run the game at 60 fps (locked - 4k resolution) but the 1% fps marker was around 30-40 fps (which causes that choppy feeling). With Special K, everything runs nice and smooth at 60 fps, even the 1% fps, so no stuttering at all.

You can find a great example here :

You just need the basic install + the CPU Core Spoofing thing (because it helps in Unity games)
And of course don't download the specially prepared version he's talking about ('cause it's for Pillars of Eternity), just the basic software from his website.
