Madame Minello Airship

Hey,

For the life of me I can't figure out the fight with Madame Minello's Airship.

I can only seem to destroy the air balloons but can't seem to do any dame to the ship. I got the tip about the airvent and the fact that I'm supposed to plug it somehow, but nothing I try yields any result (fruit cannon, water bombs...)

Any tip ?

You will want to use the red balloons the pirates deploy. Have one harpoon on to you, then fly near the vent and try to drag the balloon into it. The vent that is.

Oooh I see. Didn't realise we could do that as i was too busy shooting at them :p

I can't figure this out either. I have tried to drag the red balloons to the vents. How do you do that? How do you know when you succeed? And what's the harpoon for? I'm guessing that means you need to use the light plane.

Drag a balloon through the vent air flow. You can see it now. Get harpooned by a red balloon and drag through the air rushing in. Do that to each vent and then the pirate ship opens up.

Once you've blocked the 3 vents (one under the bow and 1 either side of the stern) fly away from airship then approach it head on. You will see the opening above the skull and once inside you have to shoot the spinning gears as you fly through. Good luck, those gears overlap while turning and you could easily get squished.

At times you think you have an air balloon attached, but you don't. They often detach before you reach the vent so watch out for that.

Well that makes no sense to me. I appreciate the feedback but I have tried several times, latching a balloon and flying by the vents with absolutely no luck. And I'm on the easy setting.

I should also add that I hope the Devs plan to add firepower to the heavy plane down the line. The bosses get stronger but the planes don't. I have lots of money but nothing to spend it on because I have bought everything available and the battles get harder each time.
