Can it possible to add gamepad support?

My personal experience told that games like this one should support gamepad. I have gamepad and it's shame and pain that I can't play this game with gamepad. Please consider add gamepad support.

Progressing past the guard

I don't know what the guard wants to allow you out of the front gates of the town. I eventually was able to walk out of the front gates, but not until I had beaten maybe 8+ bosses.
