It is the Holiday Season! We are proud to have made some major quality of life improvements to Void Warfare as well as further Balancing of the game play for all those who have purchased the title or plan on doing so during the holidays! These changes will go live this Friday on the 10th of December!

Changes to the Game will Include:
-Complete Controller Support from Start of the game until you put it down.
-Can use either control type (KB/Mouse, Controller) from start to finish without needing to unplug a -Controller to allow for Mouse Aim.
-Floating Aimer has been turned off to aid with Inversion of Pitch.
-Sensitivity has been further checked as well as allowing Sensitivity Control Change in Remapping.
-Controller remapping added to the Pause Menu.
-Power Plants are lowered in output on the Decimator Class Ships, this is done to further balance the difficulty in the harder game modes as they were very easy to beat with the last update.
-A music track not looping has been fixed.
-Zela Behemoth's armor needed a slight placement adjustment to fix it being hard to hit from behind.

A Sale will be occuring between the 18th through the 1st or so. Keep an eye out if you're interested!

Greetings Players!

In the Controls Menu, Invert Pitch and Normal Pitch will allow for the Mouse to invert what happens. Moving the mouse up still causes the reticule to move up, but the movement of the ship will be reversed once that threshold has crossed making the ship go down.
This is saved so it doesn't need to be set again each mode.

Minor fixes to aim assist on new ships as well as distances of aim assist on guns.
Minor fixes to Achievement and Leaderboard writes. They show now when achieved as they should and display properly in the Steam Client on achieved. Restarting and Quitting the match saves all kills and stores them to the Leaderboards.

Least Deaths Leaderboard has been removed.

Minor reduction in power to the 3 new Decimator Ships, only to Power Plant power output. It is a little more difficult than before but not drastically.

The three new ships didn't have Resolution scaling present for several of the UI elements making thing rather small and hard to see. This has been fixed to scale as the other ships do.

We are proud to announce the arrival of many quality of life settings that were previously lacking from Void Warfare.

Main Menu Settings allow you to control the volume levels individually for Music, Menu and SFX.

Three ships have been added to the game for use on Death Match, Wave Endurance and Battle Royale Game Modes. These ships are medium sized, heavily armed, Shielded, Hulled and have strong Power Plants to regenerate Hull and Shields when not taking damage. These have been added to off balance the unrealistic expectation of beating many of the later Death Matches, Wave Endurance and Battle Royale Game Modes with standard ships. Death Match Modes are good warm ups for those Prototypes before tacking the more intense Wave Endurance and Battle Royale Modes.

Aim Assist for all Gun Weapons has seen the radius increase from the target to aid in Auto Aim.
Missile Lock on radius has been increased to allow for a larger sight angle to keep locking onto a target.
Gun and Missile range have both been increased to 1500.
Turning Factors are decreased largely as they were conflicting with the Aim Sensitivity. Ship lines are now a slight bit faster on turn radius to show enhancements of technology.
Aiming Sensitivity has been tested between the slowest ship and the fastest - all are smooth and comfortable to aim with.

Leaderboards have been reset.

Shortly will be a Major Update to the Game Mechanics.
Below is a List of all things that have been added or updated.

Adding 3 new ship Prototypes for the Death Match, Wave Endurance and Battle Royale Game Modes. These Ships are all fast, medium sized but very heavily armed, armored and shielded. They also come with Power Plants to regenerate their Shields and Gun Weapons at a more significant rate. It also allows for Active Hull Repairs. No extra mechanics are needed for the regeneration of Hull - it will happen naturally if you're not being damaged over time.

Updates:
Widen Missile lock on Radius and Range.
Gun/Missile Range increased to 1500.
Aim Assist Angle and Distance Increased for Guns.
Turn Rates of ships has been largely decreased as they were too erratic for the Sensitivity.
Aim sensitivity has been further tweaked to be smooth from the slowest to fastest ship.

As many of the Death Match, Wave Endurance and Battle Royale modes were exceptionally hard(If not outright unbeatable) - the Prototype Helino, Xeosi and Modra ships will allow for completion of the game with much less stress involved in getting there.

Before it goes live - we will do a full reset of all Leaderboards; Achievements are all staying as is, if you earned those you keep them.

Achievements/Stats send to server were temporarily turned off between the last update until this one. Apologies - it has been fixed. Ascik Behemoth has been fixed; Armor takes damage again.
Many of the ships stats have changed to make larger ships move slower and turn slower than smaller ships. This scales upwards from Ascik through Ogin to reflect the better technologies of later ships.
Controller sensitivity update to further allow for better controls when aiming.

Hello Players!

Feedback has been received, controls being a major one. We have updated the game with a much easier sensitivity on both the mouse and controller to aim. It was tested going through the Ralloz and Ogin Sectors and both were much much better at staying on point. Mouse Aim especially is really smooth and felt easy to follow along with due to the wandering reticel.
