Hard stuck at Final boss
The game has not been so bad for me until this boss fight.. i tried "git gud" but i am at the point where i keep getting rekt and there is not even a Summon NPC option for this fight.. maybe my weapon or build sucks? but i have killed everything ells so not sure why this one would be this riddiculsly difficult to beat.

A perfect block fable art helps a lot if you are struggling.
Get the perfect guard grindstone, and focus on developing a rhythm. Block/dodge, attack, block/dodge, attack. If you're not sure about weaponry, try for either the Trident of the Covenant, or the Bone Saw blade with some kind of slashing handle. It's also not a bad idea to have a Shot Put equipped in case you poise-break him but can't reach in time to stagger with your weapon.
Using the Europe shield upgraded to tier 1 and a thrusting weapon with an electricity buff will make short work of him, I recommend putting a few points into advance for this.
The Puppet is a nasty one. I personally built the heaviest sword I could, blocked him until openings and then wailed on him. Went from 20+ attempts to downing him in two tries.

Are you stuck on the first phase or the second phase?

If you are talking about Simon the first phase is easy enough. He does have sweeping attacks but are very easy to guard or parry and rally back. If you use a Specter, mind about the whirlpool, as that WILL melt it as he doesn't have selfpreservation about it, try to stagger him before finishing making it.

Phase 2 IS the real fight indeed, so if you saw the Distortion orbs, equip the armor that reduces it. It will make them a non issue even if you get hit. Don't get nervous and keep parrying/guarding. Use Aegis to make your Legion bar a 2nd Stamina bar. That way you can protect against him and the delayed explosion attack.

Good luck! Oh, don't read below, I am talking about the ending there...

Now, provided you are fighting the Nameless Puppet, the 1st phase is a regular enough test. You just need to put it down when in low HP, cause if you leave him it will heal back. The 2nd phase is the real truly final optional boss, and has several problems, but I will make it short: Run. You know, making a little space when he readies those large dashes sweeping attacks when dualwielding make wonders, as well as his joined red attack where he slams down in a straight line. Those are the main two problems I had and with just running a bit it made a world of difference. Otherwise, learn the parries and only attack when he stops, you don't need to rush it down. Again, Aegis will help a lot. You can do it!

Not Simon.
Having the option to summon help for every bossfight in the game EXCEPT for the final one, which is also one of the hardest, is a hilarious ♥♥♥♥ move on the part of the devs. If you've come to rely too much on the summons, you really have no options beyond gittin gud if you want to beat him.

Unlike Elden Ring, LoP is a game that is pretty low in cheese strategies - apart from spamming throwables, of course.

The game does hit on the reliance to Specters near the ending parts. It's not just the erratic moveset that makes Walker of Illusions a hated boss... but the fact that you can't actually summon one for her fight! A couple more bosses before that one also don't let you summon.

It's also an optional fight. You can delay that until NG+2 when you will have your full P-Organ unlocks. Yes, it will also be a tad harder, but your power will be much larger too! Like being able to block red attacks!

Try using the holy sword(cant remember name) and use spear mode

+10000. Perfect block made that fight 10x easier.

Throwables are op in this game - so much that it is almost like cheesing the fights. If you never used them, start chucking them towards the end of the second phase and you will win.

Other than that, make sure you pick p-organs that impact guard regain, or impact perfect guards. Keep trying and you will get there.
I keep expecting to see op say that he has won......
The Nameless Puppet is the coolest bossfight in the game. No gimmicks, no BS, just a heroic sword duel between Gepetto's two greatest creations. It is well worth gittin gud in order to beat it.

I didn't even find it to be all that hard either, although it is, IMO, easier with a fast weapon.

You literally have to do perfect parrying/blocking in a row in order to stagger - sometimes your talismans will be insanely helpful - like being able to dodge the red attacks might come in handy?
