Error trying to open LOP

recently tried reinstalling LOP for a replay and when i launch the game it starts compiling shaders, crashes and when i reopen i get a pop up that says "error couldn't start "C:\Program files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Lies of P\Lies of P\Binaries\Win64\LOP-Win64-Shipping.exe" LiesofP Create Process () returned 2." and if i try to verifiy integrity of games files i get a disk write error

I would try to repair your Windows through Command Prompt.

Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Type the following information and press enter.

sfc /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Tried and got the same disk write error unfortunately

Nuts, I hope you can find a solution. The only other thing I can think to try is running the game in compatibility mode to see if that helps. I originally had issues with VCredist installation and had to uninstall and reinstall those, so that's another path you can try.

after alot of trial and error found out that avast was quarantining the file and that ended up being the problem
