You can jump by running and clicking the direction stick. I don't think it even bothers to mention it until you're well into the game.

I would assume you'd be told how to do it in the church with whatever control scheme you're using. That or just look it up in settings, if it's there.

Idk why the copied the clunky old Dark Souls jump though. Should have ripped off Elden Ring. Even the dinosaurs at FROM realize a dedicated jump is better.
