Giangio and the Gold Coin Fruit

Is there supposed to be a dialogue option after obtaining the fruit for him? He keeps saying to pick one for him and allows me to spend them to buy stuff for the Cube, but has nothing further to talk about otherwise.

I don't know if you can "finish" his quest line. His need to get coin fruits is pretty much in-game explanation why he becomes vendor using coin fruits as currency. It would not be very good if he would disappear, leaving you without possibility to refill wish cube.
