I used the Electric Coil Stick - he seems weak to lightning so it helped. Also decent stagger.
1. Always try circling around him, alot of his attacks will miss if you're constantly moving to his sides which will create more opportunities to get some hits in.
2. Your best time to strike is right after he misses his unblockable attack (the one where he lifts himself up on his scythe) or the scythe pull where his eye flashes red before doing the move, you can space yourself just out of range of either of these attacks and charge up a heavy attack while he's swinging at air.
3. When he lights his weapon on fire ready to charge at you with the 10-hit combo, try to run away as far as possible and keep dodging to his left side, if you can successfully keep moving to his side or back during this flurry, you can avoid most of the hits, you might still have to parry one or two swings towards the end if he manages to catch up to you.
Hope that helps, good luck!
Oh well, time to get back to trying to git gud, or just ragequitting xD
Funnily, you all talk about a him charging or making a huge flurry of attacks didnt even happen to me. At around 60-70% I just landed a full heavy into a fatal attack followed by a heavy that put him in under 30%. Boy melted so fast it was funny.
