Regional price = a price that is based on various factors, the standard of living of the country, average wages, etc.
But the fact that people started abusing it and change region- it's really true, unfortunately
I'm surprised that there are more and more cases of price hikes for games now, especially in poorer regions. Epecially this case is exemplary, the price was initially acceptable for the region and later increased significantly.
So I decided to create a discussion to see what other people think
There was a game I wishlisted two years ago, Ender Lilies, where the initial price was slightly more expensive than the current price. But the developer/publisher then posted an update explicitly pointing out that they're adjusting the regional pricing.
From the fact that Starfield is cheaper than this game, the developer/publisher of this game most likely just didn't care that much about regional pricing. Which is weird, because their other games are all sanely-priced here.
