Too linear

game is fun but way too linear, replay is gonna be kinda lame.
Im talking more linear than ds3, literally 1 path

Well, let's see, we have you who has played it for like 3 hours max since that's how long it's been out. Then I have reviewers who got to play for days who said there are many side paths and such. I think I'll bank on the game opening up a little later.

ive played it for 7 hours, and its literally a straight line from one boss to the next, yes there are side alleys for items but there are not big branching paths with multiple boss choices. If you are fighting one boss you dont have the option to try something else. Hence why I say its too Linear

I am only a few hours in but I have heard the same response that its quite linear. With that said, I don't necessarily think that is really a bad thing as I prefer linear games over open world usually. Though I thoroughly enjoyed ER. DS1 was considered linear but gave you many different paths to take. DS3 had very limited directions but is probably my favorite of all FS games with BB being right behind it mainly because DS3 mods that are available.
