Why are steam forum users so negative?

I don't know why but people love to engage with it.
The amount of people making sh!t talk posts isn't even that high if you go to the discussion tab.
It's just that so many people feel the need to add a comment that it keeps getting pushed back to the top of the stack.

Also I think a lot of these people don't even hate the game and they're just messing around honestly.

If you want to see what people really think about Lies of P I would say check the Discord or the subreddit.

The place where we all gather and whine, sometimes about why others are wrong to whine.

Especially before a game is released. I mean, what do you expect at that point ?
Technical help ? Bug reports ? People asking how to pass a boss or a difficult part ?

Because most of them aren't from America and therefore naturally have plenty to complain about. When first world problems are things like Jimmy not calling you back after you text him, real world problems leave people very grouchy and negative.
