As for OP's point, as far as I can tell he's kinda right, depending on what you call attractive.
If you mean having people around with unrealistic beauty standards then yeah, he's right. Last notable examples I can think of are Overwatch and Witcher 3.
If you mean interesting or cute designs then no. There's plenty of that to go around in both eastern and western games.
