Soft Locked at Walker of Illusions bossroom

After beating Walker of Illusions on NG+2, quit to title screen before entering the elevator. Now reentering the game and the elevator to get back towards Hotel Krat is locked but I have the beating heart effect you get after Sophia tells you to come back. Anyone know any way to fix this or do I have to restart the game?

Have you tried leaving for another location and coming back? I previously on NG+2 also didn't enter the elevator and went to do some side missions and had no issues coming back and going through.

TP'd back to other locations, collected some missed items since I was doing Real Boy ending and skipped previously. Was unable to TP to Hotel Krat and didn't open the elevator when I returned
