As you know, this game has a very linear progression with internal parts, so i wonder how progression in the dlc will work.
I'd prefer a fresh start for proper balancing and a desire to use new toys instead of old faithful, the trident.
The dlc is time travel based, as in you the puppet of Gepetto goes back in time somehow. Most likely from the rusty stargazer right after the cathedral.
It also teased that the choices you make in the past will ripple into the present. My guess is you progress the dlc at the same time as the base game, moving between past and present.
Either way, i want to exclusively use one of those new dlc weapons, and that gun greatsword looked very interesting to me.
Do not know if I should by the game right now, moreover Overture definitely feels like a stand-alone DLC: prequel, completely separated timeline as the main base game, I wonder if I should buy it yet again and if I may/should already start a new playthrough.
Again too bad the dev. chose not to give you these important info when they announced the DLC a few weeks ago...
