I never use mods for something so critical. Every time the game updates there's the risk of it being unplayable. Been there done that.
Because I don't own a controller ? I use M&K for Elden Ring which is also a port, and have no issues.
Of course if you have some condition with your hands that prevents you from playing it with a controller or using wasd, then your only choice is the mod.
It's not so much a condition, but rather 25 years of ingrained habit. Mouse on the left, arrow keys bottom right, all the same keybinds for run/jump/crouch etc etc.
If you never tried it, I would advise just get one to try it out for a week or more and see if you will better with. You can just return it back if you don't like how it feels.
And it also bypasses weird issues like with this game, which I didn't even know, where you cannot rebind the keys for some reason. It's kind of mind boggling that they didn't include this option.
gotta live up to that pfp
Yes I need the mouse to be on the left.
