Weapon missing

I just killed the donkey (stalker), I had the inventory full and the game didn't give me the weapon, there is a way to obtain that without restart?

It is not possible to overflow inventory in this game. While you might think it logical, killing the Mad Donkey does not give you his weapon. You can find this weapon later on.

Most bosses do not, in fact, drop weapons. Come to think of it, I think NONE of them do. Nearly all regular weapons are found in chests.

The major bosses do however drop boss ergos. Do NOT use those - you can cash them in for a lot of ergo points (souls), but you will meet an NPC later in the game you can trade them to for the actual boss weapons or amulets. Some of them are very powerful, so you want to hold on to them.
