Look, crying babies are not monsters. someone needs to work out those issues. they're puppets, please explain why puppets need to be made to look like crying screaming babies.

The good
Story is fantastic, i hope i'm able to finish.
Music is eloquent and well done, i wish i had access to more records sooner in the game.
the woodpecker by the blacksmith is diabolical.
Ambiance really hits, aesthetic is dark and moody.
weapon blade/handle is neat

i don't understand why i cant hold a big weapon and a smol one, but only two smol ones. i don't feel like i've had any choice on my build so far, i've just had to get a bunch of capacity just to equip items.
Playing my first play through, i already feel like i have to re-play the game to get everything, and that feels bad. one of those moments where i have actually made silly choices because i know i'll have to repeat it anyways and i'll find out both paths.

I was having a lot of fun, but the babies?
Dante's inferno had aborted babies and even though that fit thematically it was a huge uproar in the community because its killing babies and that's not okay. even metaphorically it's in bad taste. i understand trying to express your pain but this comes off a bit unhinged and that's saying something from someone who beat bloodborne. look at what society has turned into.

I never gave the baby puppets much thought, but in hindsight, they are kinda dystopian in a way.

BTW, they only have the shape of a baby, the ergo is what gives them life.

Yeah, like zman said, the baby puppets are only baby-shaped, not actual babies. The Ergo fueling them would have come from a wide variety of sources, essentially whoever died from the Petrification Disease. Statistically there would have been some babies mixed in sure, but that just means that some random crossing guard is 3/19ths baby, not that someone decided to put baby Ergo only in baby puppets for some demented reason.

On many levels, you are definitely encouraged to replay the game multiple times. That's a very conscious design choice throughout the game.

it's immoral and wrong and everyone who plays this game and intentionally kills them is no different than people that will abort babies.
This should never be in a video game. you should be ashamed of yourselves.

they're designed to be screaming crying babies, regardless of how you look at it, there is no reason for that in the game.
puppets have no reason to practice or deal with screaming babies, they wouldn't even make children that look that way, they're puppets. you're expressing that dark souls players don't know the different between monsters AND CHILDREN
it's offensive AT BEST.

making gamers replay the game should be our choice because it's a fun and engaging game/story with fun environments and monsters.
not because we have to.

It's not universal. There will always be some idiots wherever you go, sure, but the more active forums are better moderated and have a core of "regulars" who are actually helpful. I wouldn't give up on the forums entirely just yet.
