Decay Immunity Question

The final boss's ergo can be used to make an amulet that makes you immune to Decay. Out of curiosity, has anybody tried opening the King of Riddles puzzle box that insta-Decays you with this amulet equipped? I figure it should prevent the status but am curious.

Huh, interesting question. I'm not sure actually, but I may test that out whenever the DLC releases and I get back into the game.

I won't go into my OCD explanation for why I'm interested in finding this out but I should have an answer in about 2 days if nobody else chimes in by then so I'll respond with the verdict then.

It doesn't prevent the status from that box, you will still get decayed.

It's actually *not* failing it that gives you that box. He asks you if you're a killer, you're supposed to say "no", which gives you the poisoned box.

I just confirmed that you're 100% right. The amulet does not prevent Decay from the Puzzle box. Bizarre and thanks!

interesting. i played this game like 40 times by now and never had that box. just tested it. yeah the decay goes of.
