How do I install mods?

Hello for some reason my mods just don't load when I installed them. I put them inside my ~mods folder inside Paks. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure they're unzipped and the filetype is .pak - if that doesn't work, try putting _P at the end of their name (eg nameofmod_P.pak) and put them in your main Paks folder.
