Also, you can roll out of being grounded.
But it speaks volumes of the quality of LoP's bossfights that even this not-very-good boss is still actually....fine. Not especially enjoyable to fight, but also not an absolute travesty of a bossfight, which most gimmick bossfights tend to be.

Honestly, I can think of no boss in LoP that had me roll my eyes and loudly exclaim "this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥."
idk, the grapple move in the second Black Rabbit Brotherhood fight aggravated me. It comes out almost instantly, so if he happens to use it while you are mid-swing you get yanked away.
BBR2 is my favourite gank fight of all time. Which generally is a bit like saying that breaking your finger is a lot better than breaking your pelvis, but I actually really enjoy both BRB fights.
🤦♂️ I forgot that I could roll from the floor. I just went back and beat him pretty handily.
Still a lame ass boss, though.
