A different take on Antonia's Quest(Unmasked spoilers)

I completed the game twice for now, and gave Antonia cure both times. The game heavily implies it is the best choice, but... is it truly?
It seems if a person dies from Petrification Disease they can be "revived" in a sense - as a puppet. If we give Antonia the cure, however, she dies from natural causes. So won't it be better to withhold the cure and then create an immortal puppet body for her?
