What was the hardest boss for you?
For me hardest was Fuoko. I could never really get the timing right, and I was still trying to parry all the time, instead of only some attacks and dodging others. Didnt have this much trouble with any other boss going forward but this walking trash can still gives me trouble time to time.

Funny thing is it didn't bother me on the first run but for whatever reason it took several attempts in NG+.

Romeo took me forever to beat. First phase wasn't a problem but that second phase refused to stop attacking.

Oh god, same, I hated her so much. First boss I had to spend more time dodging than just blocking because she also refuses to stop attacking. And once she drops that illusion, I swear I only got by because the AI broke halfway through the fight.

1 playthrough in and i think the lady right before the final boss with the lightning sword was the hardest for me, very aggressive and im only mediocre at parry lol

Definitely the Nameless Puppet. Close second would be the Swamp Monster for me.

The hardest boss was either Romeo or Laxasia the complete. I was bummed when I beat the Nameless Puppet in two attempts because I heard that he was the hardest.

Nameless Puppet by a long shot. Followed by Laxasia.
Apart from those two, all other bosses are quite manageable.

On my first playthrough I died once to the swamp monster.
But I have to admit, I didn't shy away from using the summon, which makes a huge difference. Also, I went for a full dex build. The agility helps tremendously dodging his only difficult attack, the spam charge phase.

Thats fair. I decided not to use the summon cuz it just wasnt fun for me. Felt like I wasnt really engaging with the boss and learning to fight him, just juggling agro and sneaking in charged moves. No judgement if u used it though, whatever is more fun for you is what matters.

Laxasia 2nd phase.

I'm still unable to avoid some of her attacks, and before I knew I could block/deflect her lightning attacks, it was a super hard/frustrating fight.

On a side note... really amazing game.

Laxasia was the hardest because she felt like the boss that forced me to actually balance when to dodge and parry. Up to that point I had just kind of brute forced the game and learned every parry timing possible minus grabs, but a lot of laxasia's moves gave you way better openings by dodging, and it took me 40+ deaths to hammer that into my head.

Romeo was also difficult and took 20-30 deaths, but I still just bruteforced him with parrying, even if it was pretty difficult.

For me Romeo first phase was more difficult. It was pretty tricky to dodge/ parry some of the combo moves, especially those whip accordion arm attacks.

why do you think that is? Which aspects specifically give you problems?
