Movement speed in a LoP battle: incredibly slow :(

Hi, maybe this is a naive question, but seriously, please help me understand this, I'm already pretty nervous.

It's the second boss already - during the battle I feel like P is in liquid oil, he moves very slowly, with each attack I have to choose the timing very precisely, because he freezes for a very long time in the rest animation. The question is whether this was done intentionally to annoy players or there is something wrong with the game or hardware. After one session in LoP I can't play Elden Ring at all, simply due to a huge difference in the reaction speed of keys and mouse.

Hmm. That might be some kind of inadequacy or stuttering. Try watching a clip or a let's play or something on youtube of someone else tackling the first boss or level for a few seconds, just to see if you have an issue of some kind or if it's the same speed and just your perception of the game. I'm pretty sure that you're encountering some kind of hardware issue though, combat really shouldn't be feeling languid like that.

after striking, P seems to freeze - at this time he is out of control and cannot somersault or parry.
