really there are a few elden ring bosses that are significantly harder to dodge so clearly claiming that you're a ''souls veteran'' doesn't mean much
My only gripe was the difficulty to do anything else beside attacking or parrying, like for example using the grinder or some consumable etc, because he is so fast and relentless but I guess this is also a skill issue that can be overcame by studying his openings more.
At the end I managed at thankfully completed the game.
I was running an advance build and I borrowed this set up from a user in fextralife.
I used an Electric Chainsaw blade (because he is a puppet and weak to electric) and Black Steel Cutter handle that has a fast power attack (to easy do stagger damage) and a parry guard fable art which you can spam when he start comboing you.
This fable art was the key to easy win the fight, very powerful parry and stagger both at the same time. Give it a try with another handle if you are short of options.
Unless you're one of those people who were carried by white phantoms and warriors of the sunlight.

But I found out the his eyes will flash a second or so before he attacks so it can be reliably parried.
I also found that a good chunk of his attacks in the 2nd phase can be dodged fairly well.
My honest advice is to install WeMod and turn on godmode to beat him if you're not having fun any more. It's a singleplayer game, cheating doesn't hurt anyone and you can put the game down and play things that are actually more fun. You've already beaten one of the hardest games of 2023 even without killing the Nameless Puppet. I wish I had known about it when I did my first playthrough, it would have saved me a lot of useless rage and 2 broken controllers (broke the first one on Black Rabbit part 2, the 2nd one on Nameless Puppet trying to learn phase 2).
Just remember once you kill the boss (either legit or by cheating) not to accept the prompt to start NG+ because there is more you can do at Hotel Krat once you've killed him.
I'm at 50 attempts at this point, and the lowest i've gotten him is half health in phase 2. and that was with me using my best weapon i'm good with (Puppet Ripper), acid cartridges, and a fully upgraded Aegis. The massive issue I'm having is the fact he gives me zero room to heal or repair my weapon. Part of what destroyed that attempt was not just him not letting me heal, but my weapon literally broke cause my Aegis was depleted and i needed to use my weapon to block a massive combo from him. And i couldn't use any canister to restore my Legion before that combo.
I feel like I got the massive shortend of the stick because the Nameless Puppet is just in massive aggressive mode the moment he enters phase 2, so i don't get time to get away for a quick breath. I still had 7 of my 10 heals when he killed me
I think I know what combo you are talking about. I can dodge it somewhat well, but the very end attack always clips me and staggers me long enough to keep me from doing anything before he's right back on me again
