Adding multiple cranks

I see you can add different cranks to handle (I am in NG+). For instance after adding 3 advance cranks to this handle

I can increase motivity scaling by adding a motivity crank to increase physical damage on the blade. The advance scaling goes back to A from S but why elemental damage does not decrease?

you cannot add multiple different cranks, it simply swaps replace the one you have so it will change the scaling. However, the handle upgrade menu ui does show where you gain the damage bonus (e.g. phy +10) but it does not show that you will loose damage by downgrading the advance scaling (-10 damage). It has to be a visual bug I guess.
