Save data all gone
Loaded up today, all save files missing, steam cloud is synchronized but no save data of previous game found, I don't want to start all over again

have you checked your local gamefiles?
" S:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lies of P\LiesofP "

there should be a folder named saved which should contain your savefiles

No luck, only the file for what is a new play-through

Try..

1. Hit steam support - let them know
2. Turn off cloud, delete that new save, turn cloud back on
3. restart pc
4. uninstall/install game
5. uninstall/install steam again

Wish you luck that ♥♥♥♥ sucks.

I appreciate the advice, nothing yet has worked, but hopefully the support team has some answers

This just happened to me yesterday, all i can see is new game, even local files are just for new game, all previous save files are gone, how was your problem resolved? not too happy doing everything again from scratch, (contacted steam support, reply was they can't roll back any previous save or do anything that their cloud has already done)

I've contacted the dev team for help since I didn't find any resolution on my own, they replied by saying they are going to go through the save data I sent them, I haven't played the game since late December in fear of losing save data again

I feel bad for you. :(
I also almost lost all my progress due to a bug and being hard locked in front of a broken elevator. Luckily somebody on Discord gave me a smart advice to use the auto destruct item - it obviously killed me but also fixed the bug and I could keep progressing. It took only 1-2h but felt really bad. It was on my second run and with like 50h on the clock.

Turn off steam cloud saves for every steam game, i have lost saves on 3 different steam games due to the cloud ♥♥♥♥
