And then there are 15 yo kids who can't even get past the first tutorial bosses and cry about it on the forums how the game is unfair and all that stuff lol
But yes the first boss is very punishing with very little level ups, and took me about 4hrs to beat, but it made me more determined in the end.
But I know people to, that are in there 20s and 30s that won't touch a game like this, as they feel fustration and what's the point in dying over and over.
But hey they are missing out on a great genre even I only got into the last 3ish years.😊
"But after the fight I was shaking like a leave ..."
Im only 43, but i know what you mean and it made me laugh hard, thanks for that ;-)
This game and this genre is amazing, there is nothing better than a feeling of victory in these kinds of games.
I am happy that even after spending hours fighting one boss, you don' give up... that's what many people can't do, many players give up too easily and then they complain about the game being unbalanced and unfair.
Yeah right, that makes these games so cool. Im really thankfull that Fromsoft invented this genre. I came later to it then most i guess and its like im expierencing gaming for a second time after more then 30 years. I also believe, that this is just the beginnig for souls like games. With LoP and LotF they set a new mark for upcoming souls likes wich is great ;-)
LotF is a mess though, buggy, laggy, frustrating, the bosses were super easy and most of them were not interesting at all (today's patch made them a bit more difficult and overall different in terms of behaviour, so maybe they are better now) and the game is crashing like crazy still for me and they don't even answer to theri email support about my issues so... these are the main things which make LotF pretty uninteresting and not that good as it could have been.
Yes, it's true that LotF is a total no-go technically, especially the corrupted save files bug. But aside from the technical issues, I think it's an ok souls like. For some it even seem to be the best souls like today, I can't say :-/
